Case Description
Russian journalist Andrey Serafimov was charged no later than December 2023 under an article on calls for activities aimed against state security. According to the journalist, law enforcement officers came to his relatives twice: first under the guise of questioning, and later they were called in for interrogation. The reason for the initiation of the case is unknown. Serafimov suggests that the reason was his calls not to go to military enlistment offices, published in his social networks. Serafimov himself lives outside of Russia.
