Case Description
В Мариуполе оккупированной части Донецкой области не позднее конца марта 2022 года в плен к российским военным попал 46-летний гражданин Украины, военнослужащий полка «Азов» ВСУ Андрей Когут. Против него возбудили уголовное дело об участии в террористическом сообществе. Поводом для уголовного преследования стала служба в рядах ВСУ националистического батальона «Азов», признанного в России террористическим.
16 ноября 2023 горда Южный окружной военный суд признал Андрея Когута виновным и приговорил его к 5,5 годам лишения свободы в колонии общего режима. Приговор не был обжалован и вступил в законную силу.
