In Melitopol, the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, local resident Anatoly Minakov, a Ukrainian citizen with forced Russian citizenship, was detained no later than July 2025. On January 23, 2026, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Court found Anatoly Minakov guilty and sentenced him to 14 years in a strict regime colony with an additional restriction of freedom for 1 year.
