Firstov Aleksandr Andreevich

On January 16, 2025, in the occupied part of Kherson Oblast, 29-year-old Alexander Firstov, a native of Sverdlovsk Oblast and a mercenary of the Wagner PMC, was detained. According to Alexander himself, he was 'tightly twisted' right at the temporary deployment point when he came out of the bathhouse. His phone was confiscated and his correspondence was recovered, after which he was accused of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization and treason. According to the investigation, Firstov, being a paramedic and mercenary of the PMC "Wagner", joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the intention of defecting to Ukraine. He contacted representatives of the Legion "Freedom of Russia" and received an assignment from them. In addition, he was accused of "revealing his position" and "transmitting data about the number of wounded." For the duration of the investigation, the defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
