Case Description
Alexander Yeryomin, a 51-year-old resident of Volzhsky, Volgograd region, was detained in early August 2024. He was accused of 'justifying terrorism.' The reason for the criminal prosecution was a comment in a Telegram chat of the 'Byt' ili' channel, which Alexander allegedly wrote. According to the investigation, it contained wishes of good luck to the RDK and the 'Freedom of Russia' legion and a hope that 'they will reach Moscow.' It is unknown what preventive measure was chosen. On May 27, 2025, the Southern District Military Court found Alexander Yeryomin guilty and sentenced him to 2 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
