Case Description
Alexander Dakhnenko, a 24-year-old serviceman of the "Azov" regiment from Kyiv, was accused no later than August 2024 of participating in a terrorist community and undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities. Details of the case are unknown. The Southern Military Court on November 20, 2024, issued a guilty verdict. There is no information about the punishment. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force. On July 4, 2025, Alexander Dakhnenko was released during the next exchange of prisoners of war between Russia and Ukraine.
