List of Persecuted

This list contains stories of those persecuted by the Russian state because of the war in Ukraine. Not all of them are recognized as political prisoners. Among the persecuted are people with different political views who have committed various acts.

Many of them are subjected to pressure, cruel treatment and torture, forced to confess guilt and do not receive proper legal assistance, and human rights defenders cannot access their criminal case documents.

If it were not for the Russian political regime and war, they would all be free. Every name in this list matters. One day, all these criminal cases will be dropped or reconsidered. Now we need to make sure that not a single name is lost. So that the world knows about each of them.
