Case Description
On March 13, 2024, security forces detained 29-year-old Ukrainian Yulia Tishakova in Balashikha, Moscow Oblast. She was accused of "justifying terrorism. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a post from October 8, 2022, in the social network X (formerly Twitter) in the account "Kholi lapushka" justifying the explosion of the Crimean Bridge. On the same day, the Zheleznodorozhny City Court of the Moscow Region chose Tishakova's measure of restraint in the form of detention. On May 7, 2024, the measure of restraint for the girl was mitigated and she was placed under house arrest. No later than November 25, 2024, the 2nd Western District Military Court found Yulia Tishakova guilty and imposed a fine of 600 thousand rubles on her." rubles.
