Prior to this, in 2022, a Magadan resident was fined 30 thousand rubles in an administrative case for "discrediting" the RF Armed Forces (part 1, article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The woman is involved in volunteer work helping abandoned animals. In 2020, she was a candidate for deputy of the Magadan City Duma from the CPRF, but then lost the election to the United Russia candidate.
