Case Description

In Moscow on August 19, 2025, a search was conducted at the home of 45-year-old local resident, native of Kazakhstan and mother of three children Yulia Mirzalieva. The woman said that in the morning, police officers broke into her home, demanding to show "prohibited substances" and "technical communication means, while insulting her, scattering all her belongings, then taking her to Lubyanka, where they took a genetic analysis and fingerprints, after which they brought her to an unfamiliar place and told her to switch to another car. Yulia was taken to the police department in the Savyolovsky district of Moscow, where a protocol on an administrative offense under the article on petty hooliganism was falsified against her." According to police reports, she was shouting loudly in a public place, waving her arms, and did not respond to repeated lawful demands from police officers to stop her illegal actions, showing aggression. On August 21, 2025, Savolovsky District Court Judge Marina Arsenyeva sentenced Mirzalieva to 15 days of administrative arrest. After serving her arrest, on September 3, 2025, the woman was detained again and taken to the OVD of Russia in the Timiryazevsky district of Moscow, where a second protocol on an administrative offense under the article on petty hooliganism was falsified against her. According to the police version, the woman again screamed, behaved aggressively, waved her arms, and did not respond to repeated demands from police officers to stop her illegal actions. On 5 September 2025, Olga Levashova, a judge of the Timiryazevsky District Court of Moscow, sentenced her to 10 days of administrative arrest." 5. On September 13, 2025, Mirzaliyev was detained for the third time and an analogous protocol was drawn up against her under the article on petty hooliganism. On September 15, 2025, Judge Denis Repkin of the Kopevsky District Court of Moscow arrested a woman for another 15 days. On September 28, 2025, Mirzaliyev was detained for the fourth time, brought to the Golovinsky police department in Moscow, and the next day, Golovinsky District Court Judge Zhanna Averianova arrested the woman under the article on petty hooliganism for another 10 days." On October 8, at the exit from the detention center, Mirzaliyev was detained on criminal charges: she was accused of public calls for terrorism. According to law enforcement, in her social media posts, she "positively assessed the invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into the Kursk region in 2024, as well as expressed support for the actions of Ukrainian militants on Russian territory. October 8, 2025, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow chose a measure of restraint for the defendant in the form of detention."
