Case Description
On August 21, 2025, in Dagestan, at the 'Yarag-Kazmalyar' checkpoint, FSB officers detained 36-year-old citizen of a foreign state Yadulla Rufullaev. He was accused of providing assistance to a foreign state in activities aimed against the security of Russia. According to law enforcement's version, Rufullaev, collaborating with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), attempted to smuggle out of the country materials of an official nature concerning the Russian military-industrial complex. Investigators claim that these documents were obtained as a result of an attack on one of the secret carriers. According to the defendant, he planned to deliver documents and a mobile phone to Ukraine on the instructions of his brother Sabukhi, who lives abroad and is an SBU agent. For the duration of the investigation, the defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center.
