Case Description
The resident of Irkutsk Oblast Vyacheslav Barabashov has been charged with spreading knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, Vyacheslav, in March and April 2022, disseminated knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the Internet in one of the communities of a social network, presenting it as reliable messages. Vyacheslav's house was searched and "technical means and electronic media carriers, with the help of which the defendant committed the crime" were seized. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
