Case Description
In the occupied Luhansk region, a criminal case of espionage was opened against Ukrainian citizen Vladislav Seritsa. It is claimed that Serits was detained at one of the checkpoints during a document check while he was on his way to work. The date of his detention is unknown. According to the investigation, in July 2022 Seritsa voluntarily collected information about the locations of Russian military personnel on the territory of the LPR and transmitted it to Ukrainian special services via an internet messenger. In the video recording of the interrogation published by the FSB, Seritsa says that he wrote to a person named Daniil in Telegram, who, in his opinion, cooperated with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and sent him the coordinates of military facilities and the house of the Russian commandant of the city of Kremennaya. According to Seritsa, he wanted to help the Ukrainian army in this way. The defendants in the case were placed in custody for the duration of the investigation. NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 10, 2025, THE SUPREME COURT OF THE LUHANSK PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC FOUND VLADISLAV SERITSA GUILTY AND SENTENCED HIM TO 12 YEARS OF IMPRISONMENT TO BE SERVED IN A STRICT REGIME CORRECTIONAL COLONY.
