Case Description
On September 2, 2024, in Kerch, in the annexed Crimea, a local resident, 23-year-old Vladislav Kislyakov, was detained. A man was accused of treason. According to Russian security forces, in September 2023, a Crimean resident established contact with Ukrainian special services via a messenger app and, following their instructions, collected and transmitted data on the deployment of air defense systems in Crimea. The man was placed in a pre-trial detention center. 18 October 2024, the Supreme Court of Crimea found Vladislav Kislyakov guilty and sentenced him to 13 years in a strict regime colony and 1.5 years of restriction of freedom. On December 19, 2024, the Third Appellate Court of General Jurisdiction left the sentence unchanged.
