In Starobelsk, in the occupied part of the Luhansk region, a local resident, Ukrainian citizen Vladimir Popkov, was detained. Date of detention unknown. Popkova was accused of participating in a terrorist community and illegal trafficking of explosive devices. According to the Russian investigation, in October 2014, a Ukrainian voluntarily joined the ranks of the Aidar battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, recognized in Russia as a terrorist organization.
