Case Description
In Kemerovo, in April 2022, a criminal case for repeated 'discrediting of the army' was initiated against local entrepreneur Vladimir Latypov. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a solo picket against the war. Earlier, Latypov had been held accountable twice for single pickets on charges of an administrative offense under the article on discrediting the use of the RF Armed Forces. Latypov left the country.
