Case Description
In March 2022, security forces reported the detention of a Ukrainian citizen. His was accused of participating in an 'illegal armed formation and extremist organization' called 'Right Sector'. FSB stated that evidence of Vladimir's participation in the "Right Sector" was found during a search. According to the prosecution and the court, Vladimir Kulbatsky joined the 'Right Sector' no later than 23 March 2014, while in Selidovo, Donetsk region, Ukraine. The investigation also claims that the man became a member of the armed formation "Ukrainian Volunteer Army of the Right Sector" and participated in combat operations "on the territory of the DNR against the forces of the People's Militia of the DNR." Vladimir Kulbatsky was sentenced to 7 years and 11 months in a strict regime colony.
