Case Description
In the occupied Luhansk region, no later than July 2023, a criminal case was initiated against Ukrainian citizen Vladimir Korsunov for participating in a terrorist community. According to the Russian investigation, from November 2014 to February 2015, Korsunov served in the military as the head of a guard group of the 24th separate assault battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ("Aydar"), thereby participating in a terrorist community. On April 17, 2024, the Southern District Military Court found Vladimir Korsunov guilty and sentenced him to 5 years in a penal colony-settlement.
