Case Description
In the Republic of Kalmykia, at the beginning of March 2024, a criminal case was initiated against political scientist Vladimir Dovdanov on charges of calling for activities aimed against the security of the Russian Federation. According to law enforcement's version, in a video posted in September 2023 on the YouTube channel "Ukropchik, Dovganov, addressing the Ukrainian army, called for the destruction of Russian military equipment. Sadovnichy himself is in Lithuania. In April 2024, Dovganova was placed on the wanted list.
