Case Description
In Moscow on August 23, 2025, a 20-year-old local resident and blogger Vladimir Cherkashenko was detained. He was accused of humiliating a group of people on national grounds. According to the investigation, no later than August 18, 2025, Cherkashenko recorded and published several video clips in one of the messengers aimed at humiliating the dignity of Russians. In particular, he said "Russians, fuck you, die", cursed the participants of the war in Ukraine and called for "arranging a dark force for the security forces of Russia" and attacking them. On August 23, 2025, the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow sent the defendant in the case into custody.
