Case Description
The Kuban resident was searching for the graves of those killed in Ukraine, for which he was accused of disclosing state secrets. Within six months, Vitaly Votanovsky published photographs of more than a hundred graves of Russian servicemen whose deaths were not reported by regional media and district administrations. The burial sites he found are located in the cemeteries of Anapa, Krasnodar, Krymsk, Khadyzhensk, Tuapse, Kanevskaya, Leningradskaya and others, as well as in neighboring Adygea. The case of 'discrediting' the army has been closed.
