Case Description
1. In Vorkuta, no later than February 2025, a 47-year-old local resident, Vitaly Udnikov, was detained. He was accused of public calls for extremism and terrorism. According to the investigation, Udnikov posted textual materials on his personal pages in one of the social networks that were publicly available and contained public calls for terrorist and extremist activities - including attacks on the lives of high-ranking officials and other state figures of the Russian Federation. The defendant in the case was placed in custody. On June 6, 2025, the 1st Western Military District Court found Vitaly Udnikov guilty and sentenced him to compulsory labor, the size of the punishment is unknown. The verdict was not appealed and entered into force.
