В Рязанской области не позднее февраля 2025 года задержали местного жителя Виталия Сухова. Его обвинили в публичных призывах к осуществлению экстремистской деятельности и в публичном оправдании терроризма по четырём эпизодам. Подробности обвинения и избранная мера пресечения неизвестны.
16 сентября 2025 года 2-й Западный окружной военный суд признал Виталия Сухова виновным, размер наказания неизвестен.
28 января 2026 года Апелляционный военный суд оставил приговор без изменения.
