Case Description
43-year-old local resident, native of Ukraine Vitaly Krivoslyk was detained in the Belgorod region in May 2022. He was accused of treason. According to law enforcement, Krivoshelik, on the instructions of a foreign intelligence service, collected information about the movement of military equipment and Russian servicemen on the territory of the Belgorod region, after which he transmitted the information via electronic communication to the Security Service of Ukraine. The case is marked with the stamp "Top Secret, so details about it are not disclosed. After Kryvoshlyk's detention, he was escorted to Moscow. 6 May 2022 Lefortovo District Court of Moscow chose a measure of restraint for him in the form of detention. On August 3, 2023, the Belgorod Regional Court found Vitaly Krivoslyk guilty and sentenced him to 12.5 years in a strict regime colony. On October 12, 2023, the First Appellate Court of General Jurisdiction left the sentence in force.
