Case Description
Victor Gorkovenko, a 28-year-old local resident, was detained in the city of Lensk, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), no later than August 2025. He was accused of treason, aiding terrorist activities, participating in the activities of a terrorist organization, and unauthorized abandonment of a military unit or place of service for more than one month, committed by a serviceman, in conditions of armed conflict or combat operations. The details of the charges are unknown. The court placed the defendant in a pre-trial detention center.
