В Удмуртской Республике не позднее февраля 2025 года возбудили уголовное дело о публичном оправдании терроризма или пропаганде терроризма против местного жителя Василия Шкляева. Подробности обвинения и избранная мера пресечения неизвестны.
25 августа 2025 года Центральный окружной военный суд признал Василиа Шкляева виновным, размер наказания также неизвестен. Приговор не был обжалован и вступил в законную силу.
