Case Description
1. In Yekaterinburg, a 16-year-old local resident, Vasily Kosykh, was detained no later than May 2024. He was accused of undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities. According to the investigation, materials on how to assemble explosive devices and carry out armed attacks on educational institutions (school shootings) were found on Kosykh's phone. Before the verdict, the defendant was under house arrest. On October 9, 2024, the Central Military District Court found Vasily Kosykh guilty and sentenced him to 1 year of imprisonment in a juvenile colony. The name of the judge is unknown. He was taken into custody in the courtroom. The verdict was not appealed and entered into force.
