Comments that Bolshakov left on September 22, 2022 under a post by another user on VKontakte were also a reason for initiating a case. In them, he speaks out against the war and calls for sabotage of mobilization. Earlier, in July 2022, Bolshakov was fined in a case of an administrative offense under the article on discrediting the army due to comments on VKontakte, where he called the actions of the Russian armed forces fascist and aimed at destroying the people of Ukraine. October 24, 2024, the Kasimovsky District Court of the Ryazan Region found Vasily Bolshakov guilty and sentenced him to a fine of 250 thousand. rubles. December 12, 2024, the Ryazan Regional Court released Bolshakov from punishment due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution.
