On April 29, 2022, Russian military personnel abducted local resident Valentin Sobolev from his home in the village of Ivanovka in the occupied Kherson region. Ever since then, nothing is known about him. According to Valentin's relatives, the man did not serve in the ATO or the territorial defense.
