Case Description
In the city of Surgut, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, no later than March 2023, a 26-year-old resident of Dagestan, Usman Ramazanov, was detained. A criminal case was opened against him for public calls for terrorism. According to the investigation, Ramazanov allegedly published calls on VK to attack Moscow and burn Russia to the ground. He left his appeals under various posts. There is no information about the chosen preventive measure. On 7 October 2024, the Central Military District Court found Usman Ramazanov guilty and sentenced him to 6.5 years in a general regime colony. On March 17, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left the sentence unchanged.
