Case Description
In the Tver region, a criminal case was opened for justifying terrorism against a local resident, a citizen of Tajikistan, Umed Mamedov. The date of his detention is unknown. According to the investigation, Mamadov, while in a restaurant with acquaintances, positively evaluated the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall that occurred in March 2024. He justified violent actions against Russians, which led to numerous casualties. There is no information about the measure of restraint. On January 27, 2026, the 2nd Western Military District Court found Umed Mamedov guilty and sentenced him to 2 years of imprisonment in a penal colony-settlement.
