Case Description

At the end of September 2023, in St. Petersburg, security forces detained two acquaintances of the defendant in the case of the attempted arson of the military enlistment office: 26-year-old Tatiana Limeni-Osipova and 28-year-old Anna Zeladina, who were friends of Maxim Asriyan. Searches were conducted at their homes. According to the investigation, Limenya-Osipova was visiting Asriyan on September 30, 2022, and he told her that he "feels dissatisfied with the current authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies, in particular the conduct of the SMO, supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and plans to hinder the SMO by committing a terrorist act — arson of one of the military commissariats in St. Petersburg to hinder the mobilization process." 2. Before that, he asked a girl to buy him a lighter fluid, but she did not do it. On October 1, Asriyan wrote to Limenya-Osipova a message that the arson attempt failed. As the court believes, the acquaintance was supposed to report this to law enforcement agencies. Criminal cases were initiated against Tatyana Limeny-Osipova and Anna Zeladina for failing to report a planned crime. As a preventive measure, they chose a written undertaking not to leave." "12 January 2024, the Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg found Tatyana Limeny-Osipova guilty and sentenced her to a fine of 40,000 rubles. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
