Case Description
1. On December 21, 2023, in Volgograd, 41-year-old hospital sister and head of a local children's hospital, Tatyana Lebedeva, came to the military enlistment office building on Socialist Street, set fire to a 54-shot firework, threw it into the building, and tried to escape. This was noticed by a juvenile inspector and a Cossack of the Great Don Army who were guarding the military enlistment office territory at the time of the arson attempt. The Cossack carefully carried the pyrotechnics out of the building, and no one was injured. The woman was detained. A criminal case was opened against Lebedeva for attempted intentional arson of another's property with significant damage caused out of hooligan motives, as well as for hooliganism motivated by political hatred. It is unknown what preventive measure was chosen. On July 9, 2024, the Voroshilovsky District Court of Volgograd found Tatyana Lebedeva guilty and sentenced her to 3 years of imprisonment with a 3-year probationary period. On September 18, 2024, the Volgograd Regional Court reduced the sentence to 2 years and 10 months of conditional imprisonment.
