After serving his sentence, Taras was detained in a criminal case: he was accused of public calls for terrorism. The reason for the accusation was two comments on the internet. It is unknown what exactly the man wrote. No later than mid-December 2025, the case defendant was placed in a pre-trial detention center. September 30, 2025, the Pacific Fleet Military Court found Taras Tymkiv guilty and sentenced him to 6 years of imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony.
