Case Description
A criminal case was opened against Ukrainian singer Susana Dzhamaladinova (Jamala) on charges of 'fakes' about the Russian army motivated by political hatred. According to the investigation, on April 4, 2022, Dzhamala, while not in Russia, 'published on her public page on social networks a recording with a fake about the actions of the Russian army during the SVO.' Dzhamaladinova was placed under house arrest in absentia. On November 20, 2023, the singer was placed on the international wanted list.
