В Набережных Челнах Республике Татарстан 2 ноября 2024 года задержали 50-летнего местного жителя Сергея Вишнякова. Его обвинили в государственной измене и в приготовлении к совершению убийства по найму в составе группы лиц по мотивам политической ненависти. Поводом для уголовного преследования, по словам самого Вишнякова, стало сотрудничество с Украиной. Подробности обвинения неизвестны.
На время следствия фигуранта дела поместили под стражу.
