Case Description
1. On March 10, 2023, FSB officers detained 47-year-old local resident Sergey Vasilykovich in the city of Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory. He was accused of justifying terrorism. The reason for the criminal prosecution was comments about the explosion on the Crimean Bridge in VKontakte. The Achinsk City Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory placed Vasilykovich in custody. On October 3, 2023, the 1st Eastern Military District Court found Sergey Vasilykovich guilty and sentenced him to a fine of 400 thousand rubles. On January 31, 2024, the Appellate Military Court changed the verdict, replacing the fine with 5 years of imprisonment to be served in a strict regime colony.
