Case Description
On August 22, 2023, in the village of Razumnoye, Belgorod District, Belgorod Region, 59-year-old Sergei Tyukavkin from Yekaterinburg was detained. A protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up against the man under the article on refusal to undergo a medical examination for the use of narcotic drugs. On August 23, 2024, Maxim Maslov, a magistrate of the Belgorod District Court of the Belgorod Region, sent Tyukavkin to administrative arrest for 10 days. Subsequently, a criminal case was opened against Tyukavkin for attempted illegal crossing of the state border of the Russian Federation, treason, and participation in the activities of a terrorist organization. The details of the charges are unknown. The man was sent to a pre-trial detention center. 26 April 2024, the 2nd Western Military Court found Sergey Tyukavkin guilty. The sentence is unknown.
