Case Description
In Shadrinsk, Kurgan region, no later than July 2024, a criminal case was initiated against 70-year-old local resident Sergey Strukov on charges of public calls for extremism and terrorism. The details of the charges and the chosen measure of restraint are unknown. On November 28, 2024, the Central Military District Court found Sergey Strukov guilty and sentenced him to three years in a general regime colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
