They received the summons themselves, they signed it themselves, they went to the military enlistment office themselves, they underwent training themselves, they committed crimes themselves. Before the measure of restraint was chosen, the man was placed in a temporary detention center. On January 19, 2024, the court chose a ban on certain actions as a measure of restraint for Solovyov. In August 2024, the measure of restraint was changed to a written undertaking not to leave and to behave properly. Previously, in October 2022, Solovyov was fined under an administrative offense case under the article on discrediting due to comments on "VKontakte" under a post about "Ukrainian biolaboratories": "The Ministry of Defense of Russia only writes fairy tales for suckers." On November 14, 2024, the Vologda City Court found Sergey Solovyov guilty and sentenced him to 2 years in a penal colony-settlement. The court also deprived him of the right to engage in activities related to the public dissemination of information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, volunteer formations, organizations and individuals assisting in the performance of tasks assigned to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in social networks for 2 years. On February 5, 2025, the Vologda Regional Court replaced the serving of the sentence in a penal colony-settlement with 2 years of compulsory labor in a correctional center.
