Case Description
On September 23, 2025, a criminal case was opened in Moscow against 59-year-old engineer of the Match TV channel Sergey Pimenov. On the same day, he was detained. A man was accused of financing terrorism. According to the investigation, Pimenov transferred money through the YooMoney service to the Artpodgotovka movement, which is recognized as terrorist in Russia. On September 24, 2025, the Ostankino District Court of Moscow sent the defendant in the case to a pre-trial detention center until November 23.
