Case Description
September 4, 2023, became known about the sentence of two residents of the Kursk region. From the court's press release, it follows that the convicted men are named Sergey Polyansky and Sergey Korshakov. The men were accused under several articles at once: "state treason, preparation for sabotage, and "illegal drug trafficking." Details of the case are unknown. On September 4, 2023, the Kursk Regional Court sentenced 44-year-old Sergei Korshakov, a resident of Zheleznogorsk, to 20 years in prison, the first three years he will spend in prison, and the remaining years in a strict regime colony. Sergei Polyansky was sentenced to ten years in prison, with the first three years to be served in a prison. On January 29, 2024, the First Appellate Court of General Jurisdiction left the verdict unchanged.
