Irin Sergey Nikolaevich

In Nizhny Novgorod, at the beginning of April 27, 2024, a 44-year-old local resident, a programmer at Yandex, Sergey Irina, was detained. First, he was sent to a detention center allegedly for hooliganism. When leaving after administrative arrest, he was detained by FSB operatives and, according to the man, interrogated him with a stun gun. A criminal case for treason was opened against Irina. According to the investigation, on February 27, 2022, the man made a donation to the account of the Ukrainian charitable organization "Come Back Alive, thereby, according to the FSB, he financed the purchase of armored vehicles, ammunition, equipment, and medicines for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. After his detention, the man was escorted to Moscow. The Lefortovo District Court of Moscow placed the man in a pre-trial detention center. A person with the same surname and initials was charged under an article on an administrative offense for participating in an anti-war rally in Moscow on March 6, 2022. On August 26, 2025, the Moscow City Court found Sergey Irina guilty and sentenced him to 15 years in a strict regime colony, with the first 3 years to be served in prison, and a fine equal to his two-year salary (more than 5 million rubles).
