Gorokhovets Sergey Mikhaylovich

In Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai, local resident Sergey Gorokhovets was detained no later than December 2023. He was accused of public calls for terrorism, calls for activities against the security of the Russian Federation, as well as participation in the activities of a terrorist organization. According to the investigation, Gorokhovets from January to May 2023 posted images and videos and messages in Telegram calling for "joining various units of the Artpodgotovka movement, messages with information about the activities of the Artpodgotovka movement, messages encouraging financial assistance to participants of this movement; posted the program of the Narodovlastie movement, containing information about the inclusion of the Artpodgotovka movement in the list of terrorist organizations." The defendant in the case was placed in the SIZO. On May 5, 2025, the 1st Eastern Military District Court found Sergey Gorokhovets guilty and sentenced him to 14 years in prison, the first 5 years he must spend in prison, and the rest of the term in a strict regime colony. The court also banned him from posting messages on the Internet for 3 years. September 2, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left the sentence unchanged.
