Case Description
In the Irkutsk region, no later than July 2025, a 46-year-old local resident, Sergey Chirkov, was detained. He was accused of public calls for terrorism. The details of the charges are unknown. The defendants in the case were placed in custody for the duration of the investigation. On November 5, 2025, the 2nd Eastern Military District Court found Sergey Chirkov guilty, the size of the punishment is unknown. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
