Barchuk Sergey Artyomovich (Barchuk Sergiy Artyomovich)

In July, Russian security forces kidnapped and tortured the deputy head of the regional office of Ukraine's Pension Fund, Sergey Barchuk, in Kherson. After the occupation, he hid the foundation's computers and transported them to his home. After Sergei's disappearance, his relatives found this equipment and decided to move it to another location. When they were carrying out the computers, they were detained and arrested by FSB officers. In custody were Barchuk's father, stepmother, uncle, and family friend. All four, along with Sergei himself, are still being held in different detention centers in the occupied part of the Kherson region and in Crimea. They passed notes through released cellmates and told that they were kept in unbearable conditions: in overcrowded cells with bare concrete instead of beds, without a shower, walks and normal food.
