On June 30, 2025, the 2nd Eastern Military Court found Sergey Baksheev guilty and sentenced him to 6 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. The man was taken into custody in the courtroom. October 27, 2025, the Appellate Military Court increased the sentence to 6 years and 8 months in a general regime colony.
