Case Description
In Bryansk, no later than October 2024, 27-year-old Samvel Musaelian was detained. He was accused of treason. According to the investigation, Musaelian, being opposed to the 'special military operation,' in 2022 agreed with a representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to transfer information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. n October 2024, he sent a video of the deployment of Russian air defense systems in the Bryansk region to the Ukrainian side via a messenger. For the duration of the investigation, the court placed the defendant in a pre-trial detention center. On November 12, 2025, the Bryansk Regional Court found Samvel Musaelian guilty and sentenced him to 12 years in a strict regime colony with subsequent restriction of freedom for 1.5 years.
