Case Description
On January 7, 2024, in the Moscow region, 39-year-old Saitkhusen Archakov, a resident of Nazran, was detained at Vnukovo airport. He was taken to the 1st OP of the MU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Mytishchinsky, where a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up against him under the article on disobedience to a lawful order of a police officer - according to the security forces, the man refused to show his passport for inspection. On January 9, 2024, Mytishchi City Court judge of the Moscow Region Alexander Lobachyov sentenced Archakov to 15 days of administrative arrest. After serving his first sentence, Archakov was sent to administrative arrest six more times according to a similar scheme—upon the completion of each arrest, the man was detained, brought to the 1st or 2nd OP of the Mytishchi Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, another protocol on an administrative offense under the article on disobedience to a lawful order of a police officer was drawn up, after which judges Olga Makarova and Maria Loktionova of the Mytishchi City Court appointed the next 15 days. In one of the rulings, Judge Maria Loktionova, despite Archakov's disagreement with the charges, indicated that the man 'did not draw the proper conclusions for himself.'", In total, Archakov spent 101 days under administrative arrest. On April 17, 2024, Archekova was detained on charges of treason. No details about the case are known. It is reported that several years before his arrest, the defendant lived in Ukraine in Dnipro. After his detention, his messengers allegedly contained correspondence with Ukrainian military personnel and, as claimed, confirmation of his participation in a Chechen battalion fighting on the side of Ukraine. 19 April 2024, Meshchansky District Court of Moscow sent the man to SIZO. On October 14, 2025, the Moscow Regional Court found Saitkhusin Archakov guilty and sentenced him to 14 years in a strict regime colony.
