Case Description
Ruslan Ganeev is charged with two posts on VKontakte published ten months ago. The first reports that 'according to NATO intelligence, the Russian army is beginning to withdraw from Kyiv' and asks the question 'but what was all this for?' The prosecution claims that it contains false information, and the actions of the Russian military are characterized as criminal and useless. The second post expresses an opinion on the number of civilians and military personnel killed in Ukraine. As the only evidence of the unreliability of the defendant's judgments, the prosecution presents video recordings of briefings by the Russian Ministry of Defense from February 24 to March 30, 2022.
